AUOktoberfest is one of Alabama’s largest Oktoberfest festivals and showcases the craft beer industry both locally and nationally. It’s a great time!
How much are tickets?
We offer a variety of ticket packages. You may read about tickets and purchase here.
Do you provide tickets for individuals who don’t drink?
Yes! Our Designated Driver tickets are free and can be reserved here.
Do you accept credit cards or checks?
Tickets to AUOktoberfest are sold via Eventbrite, which does accept credit card payments. At the event, various vendors (including food trucks) typically take cash and credit cards.
Where can I buy my ticket?
You can buy your ticket online at Eventbrite. Tickets go on sale August 1.
How can I register to be a home brewer?
Please click on this link to “purchase” your tickets (they are free). Oktoberfest Tickets . There will be a green button on the main page that says “Tickets.” Please click here and in the top right corner of the pop up box will be a link that says, “Enter Promotional Code.” Please enter “homebrew18” and continue the checkout process by filling out the requested information. It is required to input your first beer, but fields are available to list up to four. Remember, your first beer listed is the one that will be voted on. Also, if you do not know the guest attending with you at this time please just put in the box “Will email,” so we know to look out for it and get it at a later time.
How can I register to be a food vendor?
We have a limited amount of vendor space for Food Trucks. If you’re interested in being a Food Truck Vendor for 2,000 guests, please contact Adam Keeshan. There is no charge for space rental, but vendors and will need to show proof of Food Permit and Food License.
How can I register for a booth to display my art or craft?
Artists should contact Allison Duke for more information on an Oktoberfest booth.
Will there be any food and non-alcoholic beverages available?
Yes, various food trucks will be offering food and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase. We will also have a designated driver tent setup.
Will there be any gluten-free beers available?
The list will be published as we get closer to the event and some gluten free beer will be available.
Should I drive or take public transportation?
We encourage everyone to carpool with a designated driver or utilize a car service, such as Lyft or Uber.

Who puts on AUOktoberfest?
AUOktoberfest is put on by The Hotel at Auburn University, APR and Birmingham Beverage
How can breweries run out of beer?
We expect more than 2,000 guests in attendance this year, and many breweries offer limited or one-time brews for this event, which can potentially run out.
What is your Smoking Policy?
Smoking, including vaping and the use of e-cigarettes, is prohibited inside the park grounds.
What is your policy on intoxicated guests?
All guests are expected to drink responsibly. Guests who appear intoxicated entering the event may be denied entry into the festival. Guests who appear to be intoxicated during the event may be asked to leave the festival, without refund. Several Auburn Police officers will be located throughout the event should you need assistance.
Are there any prohibited items?
Outside food and beverages are prohibited. All items in accordance with Auburn University’s weapon policy are prohibited.
Are press passes available for the event?
Media and Press may contact Katy Doss to obtain details and apply for a press pass for the event.
Where can I park?
Parking will be available in the “hay fields” across from the ALFA Pavilion as well as in the ALFA Pavilion Parking. Street signs will be posted directing you to available lots.
What are the future dates for Oktoberfest?
Dates are determined after the football season schedule has been released. We try to release the dates by March or April of the current year.
